Armenia and Jordan will cooperate in the field of peaceful use of atomic energy , according to Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan.
Today, January 19, Armenian government passed a decision stipulating cooperation agreement with Jordan’s government on peaceful use of nuclear energy.
“Jordan is in need of good expertise to construct a nuclear power plant. Our cooperation envisages capacity building and exchange of experience,” Minister Movsisyan said.
For all the discussion about civil nuclear energy and nuclear weapons proliferation, there should be more resources focusing on safely managing the former while preventing the latter. This space provides the most current information related to nuclear export controls, nuclear trade, the nuclear renaissance, developments in nuclear law, and the phenomena linked to these issues.
